Guess What
Did you know that inspite of everything that is going on in your world, God is
still in control? Each and every circumstance and situation is all in His mighty hands. I know the American economy is bad
and times are hard, but God can still be your peace, refuge and strength when you surrender EVERYTHING to Him. I heard
rumors about 3 guys who committed suicide because they lost a ton of money with the recent crash on Wall Street. I
sympathize and my heart goes out to their families but was their faith in God or in their money? We must constantly check
ourselves and make sure that we are trusting in the Almighty God and not the almighty dollar. When you totally trust Him and
put work and effort with that trust, you can have money when a lot of other people don't have money. You can have all
of your day to day needs supplied when a lot of others don't. We have to know that our source is not our jobs or our incomes,
it is God. It is through Him and because of we are blessed and prosperous. We must always give him the honor and praise
for giving us the strength, knowledge and abilities to succeed in life. This is just a little bit of encouragement for you.
I pray that this helps someone get through a tough time or situation, in Jesus name, Amen.
God Is Good
God is good, no matter what goes on in our day to day lives, He is still good. We might lose all
that we have, it's just material stuff anyway. He is still fair and just. Bad things happen to good people all the time,
sorry to say, but it is for real. God allows things to happen for a reason. Only He truly knows the big picture reason why
things happen. Usually God allows bad stuff to happen to us to make us stronger. It's almost like being tested in
school. The tests are really hard when you don't know the answers, but when you do know the answers that makes the test
easy. God is our teacher, life is our test, when we don't know the answers we have to consult with the teacher. Our teacher
really wants us to learn to trust and be at peace. When we are at peace, His goodness and His greatness shines through us
like sunlight shining through a diamond.
